Dr. Arnab Basu, CEO and Co-founder of Yancha, recently spoke at the RMBF Kolkata East India Business Summit 2025. He shared the stage with his school senior and teacher, which was a special and humbling moment for him.
Their topic was “AI: Friend, Foe or Force Multiplier?” Dr. Basu shared insights from his global consulting experience, startup mentoring, and work with Yancha’s AI engine.
He explained how AI can be a foe when we stop trusting human judgment, a friend when it brings knowledge to remote areas, and a force multiplier when humans and AI work together. He highlighted that the future belongs to those who balance human intelligence with AI wisely.
He also spoke about his Opportunity Lens framework and how real-life cases helped shape his views. Dr. Basu believes that the key to growth lies in designing AI thoughtfully and using it with purpose.
